I walked almost all of it alone
Before poker, I was already looking for patterns.
Before I made a living from poker, I was studying Civil Engineering. What drew me in was not the construction site, it was understanding how complex problems could be reduced to a set of principles that kept repeating. When I found poker, I realised it was exactly that, thousands of different decisions on the surface, but guided by patterns, frequencies and principles that repeat.
That is what kept me in the game, the search for order where most people only saw chaos.
Most of the road I walked alone.
Along the way I met people who changed how I saw the game, but most of the road was built alone.
- Years looking for patterns.
- Heuristics.
- Getting it wrong.
- Going back.
- Starting again.
I never lacked the will and I never lacked content.
Direction.
That is what was missing, and that absence is where Next Level came from.
Poker evolved!
Solvers stopped being a luxury item, and technical knowledge has never been this accessible.
Even so, plenty of people keep studying a lot and improving very little.
Between the solver and the table there is a gap no chart fills on its own. That is where context, heuristics and decision making come in.

theory stops here
The table
That gap is exactly what Next Level was born to fill.
To turn theory into decisions you can actually apply, at the stakes you really play.
